| Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man and woman that occurred at 301 West Little York Road about 4:50 a.m. on January 17.
The suspect, Dondre Williams, 20, is charged with capital murder in the 262nd State District Court. A photo of Dondre Williams, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
He is accused in the deaths of Naryssa Wright, 26, and Malakai Williams, 21.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Detective T. Tyler reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment at the above address and found Ms. Wright had suffered from a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where she was pronounced deceased. Mr. Williams was found in a different area of the apartment and had also suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A resident of the apartment reported they heard a gunshot and saw an unknown suspect shoot both Wright. The suspect also shot at the resident and then fled the location in an unknown direction.
Further investigation identified Dondre Williams as the suspect in this case and he remains at large.
