WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 5700 block of Beldart, 77033
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: More than $53 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $65 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy smoke coming from a 1-story house. They forced entry and made an offensive attack. The home was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. Crews extinguished the fire which had spread to the attic. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 35, 23, 26, 46, 55 and 24 responded to this incident.
