UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in November Shooting at 3400 Cavalcade Street

A suspect charged and wanted in the shooting of a man and a woman that occurred at 3400 Cavalcade Street about 1:55 a.m. on November 21, 2023 is in custody.

The suspect, Quendarious Emerson, 26, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 230th State District Court.  A current booking photo of Emerson is attached to this news release.

The victims, a female, 33, and a male, 30, are expected to survive their injuries.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives V. Gamez and P. Ungaro reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and a woman with a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital.

Initial investigation identified Emerson as the suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting on Dec. 19.

Further investigation developed information on Emerson’s whereabouts.  On Wednesday (February 7), Emerson was arrested without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
