HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Colbert and R. Ridel reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Anderson had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by HFD paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Witnesses heard Anderson and the suspect talking inside a vehicle in the driveway of a vacant property and then saw Anderson walk away from the vehicle. The suspect fired multiple shots at Anderson and he continued walking down the street. The suspect then pulled up next to Anderson and shot him two more times before fleeing the scene in Anderson's 2013 silver Toyota Corolla.
Surveillance video of the vehicle, which can be found on the HPD YouTube page at https://youtu.be/Yp_kM3wDAk0, was previously released to the public on November 3.
On November 13, Texas City Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and determined the driver was suspect Boudine. He was taken into custody and subsequently charged for his role in Anderson's death. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
