Houston police have released surveillance video of three persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 6821 South Gessner Road about 1:10 p.m. on Saturday (April 16).
The persons of interest are described only as three males, one in a red shirt, one in a blue shirt, and one in a gray shirt. Surveillance video of the persons of interest, who are not charged at this time, can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/4jcOxgk0UfY
A surveillance photo released to the public on Saturday (April 16) of one of the persons of interest is attached to this news release.
The identity of the male victim, 35, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Dudley and K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators learned the victim was sitting in his wheelchair outside a business, having a conversation with someone, when an unknown masked Hispanic male approached and shot the victim multiple times.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
Investigators would like to speak to the person of interest pictured below.
