| Houston police have learned a woman critically injured in a shooting at 8110 Southwest Freeway (South U. S. Highway 59) service road that occurred about 2 a.m. on Sunday (December 12) has died.
The identity of the victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. .
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives I. Rios-Hernandez and J. Cimeni reported:
The victim and a male suspect got into an altercation in the parking lot of a night club at the above address. The victim then walked over to the suspect’s vehicle and the suspect shot her one time. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
Doctors pronounced the woman deceased on Wednesday (December 15).
The suspect is described only as a black male.
