| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 6602 Madrid Street that occurred about 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday (December 15).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective J. Escobar reported:
HPD patrol officers were in the area near the above address and heard a single gunshot. The victim was found in a parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address. He had suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
