WHAT: Townhouse Fire with vehicles involved.
WHEN: August 28, 2023, at 10:10 p.m.
WHERE: 900 block of W. Nash St. 77019.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $800,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a 4-story town house on fire in a row of three units. An end unit was engulfed in flames with several burning vehicles in front of it. Several trees and a fence were also on fire. They made an attack on the fire and checked for extension inside the townhouse. A primary search was completed, and the fire was controlled. The smoke was ventilated from the residence and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. HPD was requested for traffic control. 41 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 7, 15, 6, 8, 16, 30, 33 and Rehab 17.
