WHERE: 200 block of Knox St. 77007.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $535,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded materials or products).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from an exterior wall and patio of a 3-story townhome. They quickly found and extinguished a smoldering fire inside the wall. The fire originated from the patio where a grill had been used earlier that day. Crews from Stations 11, 6, 8, 16, 62, 16 and 30 responded to this incident.
