WHERE: 7700 block of Osakwe, 77075.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $165,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke and a small appliance on fire in the kitchen of a townhome. They extinguished the fire and prevented it from further extension. The crews conducted overhaul and property conservation. Firefighters from Stations 70, 61, 26 and 36 responded to this incident.
