Suspect Wanted, Charged in November Shooting at 3400 Cavalcade Street

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man and a woman that occurred at 3400 Cavalcade Street about 1:55 a.m. on November 21.

The suspect, Quendarious Emerson, 26, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 230th State District Court. A 2022 booking photo of Emerson, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.

The victims, a female, 33, and a male, 30, are expected to survive their injuries.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives V. Gamez and P. Ungaro reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and a woman with a single gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital.

Further investigation identified Emerson as the suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting on Dec. 19.
