Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 3700 Rosalie Street

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the shooting of a man at 3700 Rosalie Street about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday (April 27).

The suspect, Frederick Oneal Warner, 49, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 351st State Court. A booking photo of Warner is attached to this news release.

The male victim, 24, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers E. Ruiz and A. Montoya reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 3100 Scott Street. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital while officers searched the area. A second male was located uninjured as well as a vehicle with multiple bullet holes and shattered windows.

Officers learned the shooting occurred at 3700 Rosalie Street. Officers found the suspect in the area and took him into custody.

Following statements from both male complainants, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted and Warner was charged for his role in the shooting.
