Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4406 Belle Park Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4406 Belle Park Drive about 3:40 p.m. last Friday (November 10).

The suspect, Jose Jorge Cisneros, 51, is charged with murder in the 488th State District Court.  A booking photo of Cisneros is attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his mid to late 60s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective K. Stringer reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive and lying on the kitchen floor.  He had suffered a gunshot wound.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.

The suspect, later identified as Cisneros, surrendered to officers at the scene and was taken into custody without incident.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and Cisneros was charged for his role in the shooting.
