Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman at 28 De Boll Street about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 14).
The suspect, Keita Neyusi Albert, 21, is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court. A booking photo of Albert is attached to this news release.
The deceased victim is identified as Alexis Falcon, 23.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and were advised that paramedics had pronounced Ms. Falcon deceased in a bedroom at the residence. She had suffered at least one gunshot wound.
Detectives learned the woman was shot by her husband, Albert. He was detained at the scene, subsequently booked into jail and charged for his role in the shooting.
