Suspect Arrested, Charged in Assault at 3435 Walnut Bend Lane

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the assault of two females at 3435 Walnut Bend Lane about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday (February 14).  

The suspect, Nicholas Ford, 20, is charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 183rd State District Court.  A booking photo of Ford is attached to this news release.

The female victims, 25 and 21, were transported to an area hospital in stable conditions.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives V. Garza and S. Deroam reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of an assault at an apartment complex at the above address.  Officers found two females outside an apartment with injuries and one male barricaded in the apartment.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to the hospital.  HPD SWAT officers responded to the scene and immediately set up a perimeter.

The suspect, later identified as Ford, was taken into custody by SWAT officers a short time later and transported to an area hospital where he was treated for a laceration to the knee.  Ford was subsequently charged for his role in the incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
