Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the assault of a female at 6219 Grosbeak Drive about 11:50 p.m. on Sunday (April 28).
Angel Gilberto Gonzalez, 26, is charged with aggravated assault on a family member in the 174th State District Court. A booking photo of Gonzalez is attached to this news release.
The female victim, 23, is in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective S. Deroam reported:
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing and found the female victim had multiple lacerations to her face and chest. She was transported to an area hospital by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
Further investigation identified Gonzalez as a suspect in this case and he was subsequently arrested, charged and booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center.
