Surveillance Photos of Vehicle Sought in Hit-and-Run Crash at 2000 Westheimer Road

Houston police have released surveillance photos of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in the 2000 block of Westheimer Road about 8:55 p.m. on July 23.

The wanted vehicle is described as a red Ford F-150 pickup truck.  Surveillance photos of the pickup truck are attached to this news release.

The male victim, 32, was transported to an area hospital with multiple broken bones.

HPD Hit and Run Unit Detective A. Gomez reported:

The victim was operating a green Honda motorcycle eastbound near the above address .  The Ford F-150 was traveling southbound in the 2500 block of South Shepherd Drive when the driver ignored the no left turn sign at the intersection and struck the motorcycle.  The driver of the Ford fled the scene without stopping to provide medical assistance.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.

At this time, there is no description of the driver.
