Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect and vehicle wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 10414 Richmond Avenue about 3 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 27).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Surveillance photos of the unknown male suspect – inside what is believed to be a green or gray Volkswagen SUV – are attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Officers N. Henderson and L. Osborn reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a convenience store parking lot at the above address and observed paramedics transporting the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators learned the victim was standing outside the business when a suspect vehicle pulled into a front parking space. The victim approached the vehicle and began speaking to two persons inside the vehicle. An altercation ensued and the suspect inside the vehicle shot the victim and then fled the scene.
