Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in an assault at 4115 South Kirkwood about 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday (April 30).
The suspect is described only as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, wearing black pants, white tennis shoes, a dark blue long-sleeved pullover and an orange baseball cap. A surveillance photo of the suspect is attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Fay and T. Terry reported:
HPD patrol officers were advised of an incident in the parking lot of a mechanic shop at the above address. Further investigation determined two individuals observed an altercation between a female and a male (suspect). During the altercation, one of the observers attempted to approach the male and diffuse the situation. The suspect then produced a pistol and aimed it at the male observer, who then walked away.
The suspect and female then left the scene in a tan or gold SUV, possibly a Buick.
