Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7700 Richmond Avenue about 5:30 a.m. today (May 2).
The identity of the male victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer R. Bymaster reported:
The victim was driving a gray Nissan Murano eastbound at the above address when he failed to stay in a single lane and struck a tree in the center median. Paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
No known witnesses or other vehicles were involved. The investigation is continuing.
