WHAT: Abandoned residential structure fire.
WHEN: November 16, 2023, at 7:40 a.m.
WHERE: 1200 block of English at Gano St. 77009.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within a minute to find an abandoned residential structure on fire and forced entry to extinguish the fire. They ventilated the structure and checked the attic for extension. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 41 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 12, 15, 19, 34 and 30.
