WHEN: November 23, 2023, at 4:11 p.m.
WHERE: 800 block of Arlington St. 77007.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (barbeque pit).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a detached residential garage fully involved on fire. They made an offensive attack and checked for extension to the nearby homes. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 36 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 16, 6, 31, 9, 11 and 15.
