WHERE: 5800 block of Maybell St. 77091.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $72,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $8,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a small fire in a portion of a detached residential metal garage. The fire was easily extinguished, and crews used a fan to clear the smoke. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 31, 57 and 30 responded to this incident.
