Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 4711 Farmer Street about 10 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 30).
The person of interest is identified as Charlie Guillory, 25. A 2021 booking photo of Guillory is attached to this news release. He is wanted for questioning and is not charged at this time.
The identity of the deceased victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
A second victim, 30, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Dudley and K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address about 11:35 p.m. and found a man lying on the ground near a home in the area. He had been shot. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned that at about 10 p.m., two men believed to be family members were involved in an argument in the driveway of of a residence at 4703 Farmer Street. One of the men fired multiple shots striking the family member and another man (bystander) in the area. That other man ran and collapsed a short distance away. He was pronounced deceased. A private vehicle transported the other injured victim (family member) to Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.
The shooter fled the scene and is believed to be in a gray pickup truck.
Further investigation identified Guillory as a person of interest in this case.
