ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In October 2022, Support Our Red & Blue Board Chair CEO Dick Hite announced that they erected billboards dedicated to police and firefighters along the interstates and major highways. The 19 billboards are to thank law enforcement and firefighters. Various business and community leaders came together to form Support Our Red and Blue, a nonprofit that began last year.
The group also hopes to visit every fire station, police station, and sheriff station in Harris County to show their appreciation.
