Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man that occurred at 8610 Almeda Road about 2:55 p.m. on Saturday (January 11).
The victim, known only as “Mike,” was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Althaus and L. Thornton reported:
The victim was standing outside the gas station convenience store at the above address when the suspect exited the store and began arguing with him. The two began to argue and the suspect then attempted to punch the victim before wrestling on the ground. During the scuffle, the suspect stabbed the victim in the leg before fleeing the scene.
