Houston police are investigating the death of a female found at 12101 Fondren Road #316 about 5 p.m. on Saturday (January 11).
The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an apparent suicide and learned a female was found with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman’s boyfriend was with her at the time of the incident and has been questioned and released, pending further investigation.
