Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 1400 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) about noon last Friday (Oct. 15).
The victim, 41, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective J. De La Torre reported:
Officers responded to a call for service at a gas station at 431 West Little York Road. The victim was inside his vehicle. He advised officers that he was stabbed by another male motorist during a road rage incident in the eastbound lanes of the North Loop West on the entrance ramp to the North Freeway (Interstate Highway 45 North). The victim stated a white male suspect, 40 to 50 years old, stabbed him one time in the chest and fled the scene in a silver, 2014 Ford Escape. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital.
