Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 1614 Dan Street about 12:15 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 17).
The victim, 68, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives S. Hall and C. Brannen reported:
Officers were dispatched to a drive-by shooting call at the residence at the above address and located a female with multiple gunshot wounds. A witness stated that he and the woman were inside the home when unknown suspects fired shots at the residence from the street. The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive, suspect or vehicle description.
