Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 9400 Coventry Square Drive about 6 a.m. today (August 21).
The victim, Louis Woodard, 51, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Russell, C. Castellani and A. Carroll reported:
Officers responded to a reported shooting at the above address and found Mr. Woodard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the back. Woodard was transported to the hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening wounds. The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.
