Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12803 Louisville Street about 1:05 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 20).
The victim, Jose Antonio Garcia, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address after witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from an apparent large automatic weapon. A male inside the residence heard the gunshots and went to check on his brother (Mr. Garcia), who lived in a separate, small house on the property. Garcia was found unresponsive, lying on the floor inside the residence. Paramedics pronounced him deceased with multiple gunshot wounds.
Detectives were told the suspects, described only as four to five Hispanic males, fled the scene in a four-door, white Mercedes Benz and a four-door, black Cadillac CTS.
