Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male that occurred at 800 Autumn Wood Drive about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (November 30).
The male victim, 26, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer A. Barker reported:
The victim was with his three-year old child in his vehicle and was selling marijuana to the suspect when the suspect attempted to grab the victim’s firearm. The victim stated he attempted to resist and the suspect shot him one time in the neck. The victim then discharged his weapon at the suspect but missed. The suspect fled the scene. The child was not injured in the incident.
