Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others that occurred at 4807 Raven Ridge Drive about 1:10 a.m. on Sunday (December 1).
One victim, Juan Jose Medrano, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims, 45 and 25, were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Fregia and N. Sharp reported:
Mr. Medrano was attending a party at a residence at the above residence when an unknown male suspect approached the house and began shooting, injuring the two victims. The suspect then began shooting into the backyard and fatally struck Mr. Medrano. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. At this time, there is no known suspect or motive.
