Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 7400 Ardennes Street about 4:55 p.m. on Sunday (May 5).
The victim, 14, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer L. Bolmanski reported:
The victim was in the passenger’s seat of his father’s vehicle and traveling near the above address when a black Chevrolet four-door vehicle pulled up to the passenger’s side of the teen’s vehicle. A male suspect passenger in the Chevrolet then fired several shots at the victim’s vehicle, striking the victim in the right leg. The suspects’ vehicle then fled the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
The shooter is described only as a black male with as many as three other young black males in the Chevrolet.
