Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3300 McGowen Street about 3:50 p.m. on December 31.
The victim, 17, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers H. Martinez and M. DeLeon reported:
The victim and a male passenger were in the victim’s vehicle talking to another male on the side of the street at the above address when an unknown white sports utility vehicle pulled in front of them. A person(s) inside the SUV then starting firing shots at the victim’s car, striking the victim several times. The victim managed to drive to his residence. A family member then drove him to the hospital. The passenger in the victim’s car was not injured.
