| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 2900 Kirk Street about 9:35 a.m. on Wednesday (October 23).
The victim, Molly Palacios, 52, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers D. Polite, J. De La Torre and O. Flores reported:
Ms. Palacios was standing at the intersection of Kirk Street and Liberty Road when an unknown suspect(s) drove up in a pickup truck. Palacios and the suspect got into a verbal altercation that resulted in her being shot by the suspect. Paramedics transported Palacios to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.
