Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 12607 Ashford Meadow Drive about 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday (November 2).
The victim, 39, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives T. Youll and M. DeLeon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim had been shot once in the chest and then robbed of his personal property. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
Investigators believe a second person, a male 20 to 25 years of age, may have also been shot once in the leg. Investigators believe he was not the intended target of the robbery. At this time, this person has not been identified or located.
