Investigation into Shooting at 11050 Southwest Freeway

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 11050 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road about 2:35 a.m. today (November 3).

The victim, 18, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers I. Rios-Hernandez and A. Merino reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a motel at the above address and were advised the victim was shot by male suspects.  The suspects were no longer at the location when officers arrived.  The victim had suffered gunshot wounds to his abdomen, back and left arm.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.

According to a witness, two unknown suspects knocked on a motel room door, where the victim and other persons were staying.  When the victim opened the door, both suspects entered and fired multiple times.  The suspects fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

The suspects are described only as two black males.
