Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 1200 West Tidwell Road about 1:15 p.m. on Thursday (November 5).
The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Kimbrough and A. Merino reported:
The victim and another male, 16, were sitting and talking on the front porch of an apartment at the above address when an unknown suspect drove up in a black, four-door sedan, rolled down the window and fired shots at both victims. The victim was struck in the leg The other juvenile was not injured. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim and his friend walked home. A family member then transported the wounded juvenile to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
