| Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a person found at 12141 Richmond Avenue about 11:20 a.m. on Thursday (June 13).
The identity, gender and cause of death of the person are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after work crews mowing the grass in the area found a body in a drainage ditch. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition.
The investigation is pending autopsy results.
