Investigation into Man’s Death at 12325 Hillcroft Avenue

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 12325 HIllcroft Avenue about 11:20 p.m. on October 12.

The deceased man is identified as Nickolai Bichon, 21.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives V. Nguyen and J. Flores reported:

On Thursday, (October 12), Mr. Bichon was shot by multiple suspects and transported by a family member to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital where he was treated and released in the early morning of Friday (October 13).  Later that same day, HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the above address.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Bichon deceased.

A preliminary investigation and statements from witnesses and family members determined Bichon had attempted suicide a week prior and may have ingested something earlier in the morning after being discharged from the hospital.

Bichon’s cause and manner of death are pending verification by an autopsy, to be conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
