| Houston police are investigating the apparent fatal shooting of a man found at 8405 Broadway Street about 6:45 a.m. on Sunday (June 30).
Th identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Pemberton and S. Spivey reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the Broadway Casa Apartments at the above address and found the victim lying in the parking lot next to his vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspect(s).
