Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 10600 Wallisville Road about 10:30 a.m. today (April 14).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detective D. Stark reported:
A patrol officer was flagged down by a citizen who told the officer the body of a male was lying in an empty lot of an industrial area at the above address. Responding officers went to the location and found the body in an advanced stage of decomposition. There were no obvious signs of trauma.
The male’s cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
