The victim’s sister then told officers the friend had stated they were at an unknown apartment complex and, while he was in an upstairs apartment, he heard the victim screaming. When the friend came outside, he found the victim had been shot. The friend drove the victim to the hospital and then left, changing his clothes before returning.
