Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9953 Bessemer Drive about 2:20 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 17).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Hughey and L. Palma reported:
Officers were dispatched to a drive-by shooting at a strip center parking lot at the above address and found the victim inside a white four-door vehicle that had crashed into a pole in the parking lot. The victim had been shot multiple times and paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
A vehicle was seen fleeing the scene. There is no known motive no suspect(s) at this time.
