Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9800 Braeburn Glen Boulevard about 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday (June 11).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Detectives J. Fay and C. Lamont reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at an apartment at the above address and were advised the victim was shot as he was attempting to enter a relative’s apartment. Family members inside the apartment called 911. Paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) in the shooting.
