| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 9700 Goldcrest Street about 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday (February 28).
The identity of the victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and D. Lunceford reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim inside his vehicle in a ditch suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
