Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9600 Bissonnet Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 9600 Bissonnet Street about 8 a.m. last Friday (Sept. 23).

The identity of the victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:

Officers were dispatched to Memorial Herman Southwest Hospital after a female with gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.  Doctors pronounced the woman deceased at the hospital. 

Detectives learned the shooting occurred at the above address following a disturbance with unknown persons.
