Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 900 Lamb Street about 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday (March 9).
The identities of the victims, 23 and 25, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Andrade and M. Perez reported:
Harris County Precinct 6 deputies were on an unrelated call in the 1200 block of Bluebonnet Place Circle when they heard a report of a shooting at 1210 Bluebonnet Place Circle. The deputies and HPD patrol officers responded and found a shooting victim. Houston Fire Department paramedics then transported him to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
While en route to the Bluebonnet Place Circle location, HPD officers were also advised of a second shooting scene at 1100 West Gray Street. Additional HPD officers responded and found a second shooting victim inside a vehicle. He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was also pronounced deceased.
Further investigation determined the two cases were related and that the original shooting scene was in the 900 block of Lamb Street.
