Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men that occurred at 838 Oak Street about 6:05 a.m. on Saturday (February 5).
The identities of the male victims, 26 and 27, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Officer J. Campbell reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and, upon arrival, found the two victims inside an apartment. Both men had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
A third resident of the apartment was not injured. He was questioned by investigators and released. Further investigation revealed the suspects may have fled in a dark-colored, mid-size SUV.
